This is my fourth pair of these boots over the last 7 years. They are very well made. I have flat feet and can't tolerate the high arches in most shoes. These boots are very comfortable and I wear them almost every day and highly recommend them.
Billy Joel - It's I have very wide feet and thicker calves, so I was worried these might not fit. I wear anything from a 7 to an 8.5 depending on the style and width of a shoe (I normally net out at a 7.5 wide). I bought a size 8 in these boots and they fit great! I was worried that they might be too stiff at the front part of the boot or too tight around my calves, but not only are they roomy around my feet, the top of the boot is wide enough for me to tuck my jeans inside! I wore them the last time I was up in Rochester, NY and despite the snow, my feet (and jeans!) were warm and dry. If you wear a half size, I would definitely recommend going up to the next whole size. I don't usually wear thick socks, so that might effect the fit, but these kept my feet very warm with my regular socks, so thick socks aren't necessary. Overall, these are inexpensive, warm, comfortable boots that fit great!
